Oakwell's one-to-one sessions are designed to assist
clients to identify a suitable career aim and formulate a plan to achieve the
aim. Sessions are undertaken with the career consultant, in the role of mentor,
coach and adviser. Consultations help clients to plan specific objectives to
gain employment, including marketing documentation .
Further one-to-one meetings can be arranged to assist
the client specifically with his/her marketing activity.

Focus on future options - the enhancement of jobsearch
skills, the development of a range of suitable CV's, speculative letters,
letters of application, and self-marketing.
Advise on issues such as- networking and the use of
specialist career and recruitment consultants.
Instruction on how to improve interview technique and
presentation, using roleplay and feedback with CCTV. Clients will be supplied
with copies of their own video tape interviews for consideration and personal
review.
One-to-one Counselling can also involve psychometric
assessments and/or personality profiling to determine areas of competence and
ascertain career direction
1-1's CAN COVER ANYTHING THE CLIENT WISHES, THE ABOVE
GIVES AN IDEA OF THE MOST COMMON SUBJECTS CLIENTS WISH TO COVER
A session typically lasts 3 hours.
