Full Outplacement Support Programmes are offered for
set periods of time, i.e.
1 month, 3 months, 6 months and 12 months.

The Oakwell Consultants full outplacement programme
is very different from the other outplacement services
available today. Instead of a points or modular based
programme the client has access to all the services available.
They are allocated a suitable consultant with whom they
form a close working team for the duration of the support.
The client gets a skilled advisor mentor and coach but
more importantly a highly experienced additional pair
of ears and eyes with contacts.
The consultant is available
on the telephone at any time during WAKING hours including
evenings and weekends and is always looking for
opportunities for the client in both the advertised
and unadvertised job market.
The Programme begins with an initial assessment and
review meeting, in which the client is given client a clear understanding
of the support available this also gives the consultant
a good understanding of the clients background and future
career aspirations
Programme Flexibility
Of course, as the programme progresses, changes may be
necessary. We offer the flexibility for the client to make adjustments to the
planned service provision on an ongoing basis.

Senior SpecialistCareer Consultants
Matched to the individual client: by sector expertise
and client seniority level providing assistance in coming to terms with change, reviewing
skills, knowledge, experience and aspirations, engendering a sense of realism,
confidence and optimism.
Psychometrics:
Psychometric assessment, analysis and review: Self
completion of the questionnaire (optional), followed by a meeting with a
personal Career Consultant to determine the ideal contents for the clients'
individual career plan. The client may wish to complete further in-depth
analysis, using the Myers Briggs Type Indicator, Watson-Glaser Critical Thinking
Appraisal, Firo-B and the SHL Advanced Occupation Interest Inventory. This gives
the client a very good understanding of him/herself and is marked by a
psychologist. Results are presented to the client in a one-to-one
meeting.
Career planning:
Intensive
one to one meetings after which the client will have identified a suitable
career aim and have a plan to achieve that aim. The client will also have learnt
how to plan specific objectives to gain employment, including executive
marketing documentation.
Self marketing:
Featuring further one-to-one
sessions designed to teach the techniques required to be successful in today's
job market. Includes: understanding self marketing, the job market, building
networks, advertised vacancies, recruitment consultants, headhunters, accessing
the unadvertised jobs market, speculative approaches, research, the tailored
career résumé. The client will also practise interview techniques using CCTV,
followed by a feedback discussion.
Marketing support:
Further one-to-one meetings are arranged throughout the
programme to assist the client with his/her marketing activity. These meetings
will be undertaken with the client's personal career consultant in the role of
mentor, coach and adviser. Additionally "marketing meetings will give the client
opportunity to network and exchange ideas.

vacancy search emailed to them on a weekly basis; CCTV, specialist advice
personalised Mail shots and Secretarial support, Video and training materials;
Job Vacancies:
The Oakwell Direct Vacancy Database: Updated daily,
offering instant internet access to around 30,000 vacancies, with full search
and selection facilities, to allow easy pin-pointing of relevant
vacancies.

At the clients full disposal, offering unique and
direct links to leading executive recruiters, headhunters and Interim management
specialists in the UK and internationally.
